Welcome to the new and improved version of ‘My Champagne Taste Life’
It has been some time since my last post. Over the summer, I decided to take a break from blogging and do some serious soul searching. I was feeling a bit out of touch and frankly just didn’t have any ideas of what to post about next. In the last few weeks, I have really come to realise what I am passionate about and what gets me truly excited. The subject that I could talk about for hours and not get bored. For me that is definitely travel!
I had always wanted to write a travel blog, but was discouraged by the fact that I’m not a 20 year old on gap year, able to travel the world on a shoestring budget.
It occurred to me, however, that those kind of blogs are trying to reach a different demographic anyway. One which I am no longer a part of.
There aren’t really many blogs which cater to an age group of people who are past the backpacking stage and are really just looking for some great advice and inspiration for their next trip.
So I have decided to completely refocus and redesign my blog to reflect what I truly am passionate about, travel!
I hope to bring a collection of great itineraries to help you plan your next trip, along with detailed guides and reviews of places I have visited. My ‘Dream Itineraries’ section is dedicated to providing trip plans and outlines that you can follow, or perhaps just add certain destinations to your bucket list.
One thing that I am very good it, is researching and planning. I won’t just be posting about places I have been to, but also trips that I would love to take. Let me take the guesswork out of your trip planning, by providing some great suggestions for you, as well as tips and tricks to help you get to where you want to go and enjoy yourself. Think of me kind of like a virtual travel planner!
In the coming weeks, I hope to add some travel planning resources to help get you on track with your travel plans. We might not all be able to travel constantly, but having a plan in place for that ‘dream trip’ is something that everyone is capable of doing.
If you have any questions about travel planning, or would like to see any particular destination featured, please get in touch via the ‘Contact Us’ page. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr.
Thanks for visiting!
